6 Ways to Avoid Depression

If you're feeling down and out, here's how to get yourself back on track:

1. Use a spiritual breathing technique.

This exercise can help you focus your mind and calm the body, which can help you feel better.

2. Socialise with friends or family members who make you feel good.

It's important to surround yourself with people who love you, because they'll bring out the best in you!

3. Get busy with activities that make you feel productive and fulfilled.

For example, if you're not sure what to do with your time, try taking up a new hobby or volunteering somewhere that interests you. You might find that it helps put things into perspective for the future!

4. Talk to God about what's going on in your life and ask Him for guidance—He always answers prayers!

5. Include physical activity in your daily routine as well as eating healthy foods and drinking plenty of water—this will help keep your body happy and healthy and will help fight off depression symptoms naturally!

6. Talk to others about how they are feeling too—this can be a great way of building relationships and making connections between different groups of people!

Kaysteaklobster @ Putra Heights

Assalamualaikum and greetings,,

It was day 74 MCO, and I was really really craving for steaks , ribs, lambs you name it. Having said that, we learn about this place in Instagram where the ads keep popping out in my instagram page and I can't help but to click on it.

You can book through the website or can straight away give them a call. But I prefer call, should there be any latest update, then I'll be informed right away. So I got the 6pm slot, drive all the way from Selayang to Putra Heights and I have to took off early added to the road blocks and the distance. As soon as we reached there the waiter already waited at the entrance and ready to take our temperature and details. It was a quick one and we were brought to our table of 4.

Not long before we were order the menu, I can see the queue started to get long, more and more people coming either for takeway or dine in. We browse the menu through our phone and order a 700gm porterhouse T-bone steak (we shared for 2 adults), and as for the kids, I ordered carbonara, tempura nuggets. I get myself an onion soup and cheesy garlic bread for starters.

Overall I am very satisfied with my meals, the meat was cooked to perfection, and they got the right doneness (medium) for my porterhouse steak. It was juicy and at the same time got this charred part of it which I like. The fats just melts in my mouth. That being said, I should rate it as 10/10. Will definitely coming here again to try the tomahawk.

Angus Porterhouse or T-bone steak 700gm comes with mashed potatoes and green salad and 3 dipping

      Medium it is.

Wangsa Grill by Chef Zubir @ Wangsa Maju

Never heard about this place until a friend of mine recommended this place. She claimed that the steak is good and I don't want to miss a perfectly cooked steak.

My mini chicken. Perfectly roasted with herbs.

Some seafood platter.

The Verdict : highly likely to come here again but maybe will order something else from the menu. I've tried the lasagna and I would say the lasagna is the best in town. 100% will order that again. TBH I reckon that this place is a bit outdated and maybe a lil redecorate or renovation would be suffice. Other than that everything's great ie friendly and attentive staffs.

Didie's Kitchen , Danau Kota

I have been a regular customer here ever since I've got to know this place form a friend who lived nearby. This place is pretty much same with other hipster cafe where they offer menus ranging from western, and fusion. As simple as its name, they really going easy with the decor and it is not a big cafe after all. There's little thing they do everyday, where few flowers in a jar were put on each table and it was a different flower every time.  There are few tables outside the premise, convenient for them smokers. You have to order your menu at the cashier itself and pay right away.

I used to love when they served plain water and you can help yourself with it, but no they no longer provide that. Everyone loves free stuff right. Well yeah, another strategy to make money by marked up the price of mineral water.

Price wise... a lil bit on the expensive side, but customer's satisfaction is guaranteed. That being said, I rate this restaurant an 8/10.

my all time favorite drink

The interior is simple yet
Duchess Beba

Aglio olio with grilled lamb

Grilled cheesy chicken

Carbonara grilled cheesy chicken

You can never go wrong with pepperoni pizza. This is by far the best pizza I ever had.

Root Canal Treatment @ Klinik Dr Fauziah Melawati (Sakit gigi lepas bersalin)

Assalamualaikum
GREETINGS...

Talk about tooth ache, it reminded me about my cracked tooth that I had during my confinement a while back. Crack tooth pain is no kidding! Like it was the worst thing after labour pain. Let's say labour pain score is beyond 10, tooth ache is literally 10/10. So I'm actually crying during the pain episode and became grumpy and pettish due to the pain. I scolded everyone and to tell ya'll the truth, that include my newborn (not proud).

I had to ask my husband to bring me to dentist nearby cause I just can't withstand the pain anymore. But deep down inside I knew I couldn't just seeing a normal dentist, I mean this is Crack tooth we're talking, I need to see an endodontist! I called my regular dental clinic, Klinik Dr Fauziah just to found out that they were fully booked. I had no choice so I headed to dental clinic nearby my house.
As what I expected, normal dentist offers no help cause the doctor can't seemed to solve the problem, so I asked for a painkiller just to buy me sometimes before I met the actual dentist!

So, I made an appointment with my regular dental clinic, Klinik Dr Fauziah. I normally will see the one in Publika, but some of my preferred dentist will be in other branch ( either in Melawati or Chow Kit). Due to so much pain that I had before, I was determined have my that one  problematic tooth removed. But according to the dentist, there are other options that I can choose, which is I can do the root canal treatment (and trust me I knew about this other option and I just thought that it will be too expensive that I couldn't afford it)

CUT long story short, it turns out that it was not that expensive. Which is roughly RM 1600 for 3 sessions and RM1200 for Crowning and mind you that I think the endodontist is by far the best dentist I've ever met. So I had a 3 session with the endodontist, according to him, my tooth already been long dead because I don't react to the pain. I was first given an antibiotics to stop the infections, then was asked to come for the following week for following treatment. Total duration is 4 weeks, where you have to come once a week to do the treatment.

Feel free to visit the website and make appointment.

Dental Clinic : Klinik Pergigian Dr Fauziah
Website : drfauziah.com
Total price : RM2800

Available branch in Publika, Menara Centra (near Chow Kit), and Taman Melawati
I've been to those 3 clinics cause needed to find that particular dentist.
Just a few recommendations, I highly suggest to see Dr Nik Roslin Nik Sulaiman for the crowning session.

Pakej Bersalin di KPJ Tawakkal 2017

Assalamualaikum

Tarikh 6.12.2017, saya selamat melahirkan seorang bayi lelaki, dan saya mengambil pakej Single Room (2 days 1 night) berharga RM3999 dan memilih Dr Jaafar Yaakob as my obstetrician. Memang 1st and 2nd child ni saya menggunakan service Dr Jaafar. Pakej yang saya ambil ni adalah pakej basic (normal delivery, NO EPIDURAL, NO VACUUM, NO FORCEPS ) dan harga yang di offer ni adalah harga masa office hour. If kena admit after office hour harga jadi lain.
Pakej ini cover:
1. Admission fee
2. Room charges (2 days, 1 night)- ada single room, 2 bedded and 4 bedded
3. Maternal and fetal monitoring during labour room
4. Consultant review 2x/day
5. Nursing care
6. Take home medication

for baby:
1. Baby vaccination - BCG, vit K, Hepatitis B
2. Neonatal screening (TSH, G6PD, blood group)
3. Baby examination by paediatrician
4. Newborn hearing screening

Masa dah nak dekat bersalin better pergi for regular check up, so that kita and doktor tau baby progress. yela tiba2 last minute, baby songsang pulak, or ada any other complications, doktor boleh plan awal2.
Right after baby keluar tu, nurse bersihkan dan terus letak atas badan mak, untuk breastfeed and skin to skin touch. Lepas tu baru nurse ambil baby and mandikan. Petang sikit baru dorang kasi baby balik. Doktor pun akan datang di ward dan check patient twice a day.

Lepas bersalin, saya dihantar ke bilik. Walaupun bilik agak penuh, saya duduk dulu di sharing room. malam baru dapat single room. Nurse akan buat regular check up untuk kita, and ajar cara breastfeed. They are very helpful and experienced. Sebab amik bilik single room, so husband boleh tidur sekali. Dia tidur atas sofa je.

Masa nak discharge tu agak lambat sikit. Maybe sebab semua org busy kot, tak cukup staff. Banyak jugak free gift dapat dari hospital. Dapat hamper Johnson& johnson tu, newborn set (swaddle, mitten, booties, cap, and baju baby from KPJ), diaper (biasa), cream untuk diaper rash , Seudocream (small size).

1 hari tanpa masak = RM200 (termasuk menjaga bayi, cuci baju, mandi bayi, cukur rambut bayi)

Saya mengambil pakej sehari RM200 selama 10 hari. So ini yang ditawarkan:
1. Urut pagi dan petang

Dim Sum Buffet @ China Treasurer | Halal Dim Sum

You can either wait for a promo in Groupon or now known as Fave or you can walk in and pay RM75 nett for dim sum buffet. (I came here on 14 July 2016 so the price maybe is not updated. It took so long to post this review).  Pardon the delayed of the post. I usually choose to wait for the Fave or 8excite.com  promo and pay RM45 where you get the same thing for a different price. Needless to say if I'm craving for dim sum I just walk in and pay RM70++. There will be extra charge for the drinks. The dim sum buffet only available during lunch time around 12 noon till 2.30 pm.

It is advisable to make a reservation earlier when you are using voucher but normally if without the voucher you can just walk in. I always come here during weekdays, so the crowd here are mostly working people and they came in a group and booked large table. Overall, i like the quality of the food, all the dim sum tasted fresh, and I think they are comparable to Dolly Dim Sum or even better. Well, that's just  my personal opinion. On top of that, the staffs were very attentive and I'm impressed with the service. With that being said, this is like my ultimate place to have my dim sum.

This restaurant is in the Sime Darby Convention Centre which is in the Mont Kiara and parking (free) is not the issue here unless if there is an event going on like wedding, gala dinner, conference and etc.

Here are some of the photos taken,

Our set of cutlery, serves along the chinese tea and the dipping

The lotus sticky rice , one of our faves

Quite an ambiance to have nice and cosy meal.

These are among the favourite
This is the second page of the menu, unfortunately I kinda lost the first page

The salted egg yolk charcoal bun. Love it, love it...

To be safe, try not to order so many plates, finish what you can eat first and if you needed more, then can always order them, This was what happened to me, where we ordered so many dim sum dish and we had hard time to finish them all. But somehow we managed and like I said, we really struggle to clean our plate . And this is because they'll be charges applied for unfinished dish. Lesson learnt!

There are terms and condition apply for this All you can eat buffet:
1. Wastage unfinished dim sum (buffet) will be charged as ala carte pricing
2. Minimum 2 pax for all you can eat dim sum buffet
3. Take away are not permitted for dim sum buffet
4. You may order as much as you wish but please do not waste food
5. Price is inclusive of good and service tax

There's a current promo for Chinese New Year 2018, where you can purchase from Fave for the Chinese New Year Eve dinner.

Rate: 9.5/10

Restoran Itik Salai Mastar @ Bandar Tasik Kesuma, Semenyih

What's cooking foodie fam!! Today I decided to share another spot - one of my hubby's favorite places, which I'd like to think is a hidden gem. So deep, that only the CHOSEN ONES were allowed to find this place hahaha!

Me and hubby bought a landed property in Semenyih few years back. But don't be fooled by the name; it's not the 'Semenyih' next to Kajang. This one is actually near the N9 border, in Mukim Beranang to be exact. And lucky enough, accessing this 'remote' area has enabled us to locate this wonderful eatery.

Restoran Itik Salai Mastar
As the name suggested, this place serves authentic N9 'masak lemak cili api' dishes; with all kinds of protein you can think of - chicken, beef, catfish (ikan keli) or duck. And the best part is, semua salai beb! Hubby loves this place so much, whenever we go there to check out our property (which we have rented out), he always wanted to stop by and eat up.

Smokey sensation! Everything was freshly prepared and smoked on a daily basis
You could easily miss this spot as it is located at a T-junction with traffic lights. But it's around 3km++ from the famous Tesco Semenyih, heading towards Bandar Tasik Kesuma. If you pay attention during your drive there, you'll notice the joint to be on your left hand side.

There are also other condiments that come along with the masak lemak cili api dishes like fried tempeh, fried tofu, ulam-ulaman and ikan kering.

Condiments - I choose you, tempeh!
And they also give out free flow of drinks; most of the time it's grape cordial. If you want plain water, just help yourself and get a glass.

Bang, nak kena topup air ni!!
If you like authentic N9 dishes and can stand the heat, this is the place for you. Hubby loves it so much because he said the food here reminded him of the food he used to have in his secondary school, Sekolah Menengah Sains Seremban (SASER).

Total damage:
Can't really recall the exact amount, but each set of meal (rice + fish/chicken/beef/duck + drinks) will cost around RM6.50 to RM7.00 per head. I say that's a fair deal.

So look it up and let me know what you think about the place. My hubby said he'll give this place a 10/10 in any given day, but I'll just give it a 8/10 - just to mess around with him hehe.

Selamat mencuba!

Eastern Crab @ Plaza Ampang City

My dear hubby has been craving for crabs since like, forever! We've been searching here and there for the best deal and taste, and ended up at Plaza Ampang City on 30 Aug 2017, where most bloggers recommended for the best Chinese-Muslim cuisine. I have to apologize though, not many photos were taken during our 'makan' session. So, without further ado, here's our verdict:

We started quite extravagantly, ordering all 3 most popular crab dishes (since our purpose of going there was to enjoy the crab anyway);

Kam Heong crab (RM50)
Salted Egg Yolk crab (RM50)

Singapore Chilli crab (RM50)
So yeah, the photos look tempting, yes? We were given a 'good' deal as well, where each crab were priced at a flat rate of RM50 per dish, despite their regular price of RM65 per dish.

Now here's the deal breaker, NONE of the crabs were fully cooked! My hubby was like, what the fishhh??? The Salted Egg Yolk crab had the nicest gravy among all, the Kam Heong was below par with the burnt and bitter spices. The Singapore Chilli crab had a so-so gravy that went quite okay-lah with the fried man tou. Oh and talking about the man tou, hubby wanted to also order the steamed ones, but the waitress die-die want to encourage us to order the fried ones, saying they're much better and all. I mean, they're quite okay to our liking, but what happens to serving what the customer wants though?

Fried man tou (RM4), 4pcs
And to top off this rather BAD experience, they managed to mess up hubby's iced longan (RM4.30/glass)! Like, seriously people. This post might sound like a rant, than an actual review hahaha! The water felt like it was not treated (macam amik air paip terus masuk dalam cawan, tambah longan 2-3 bijik). Bro!!! What-lahhhhhh... We ended up ordering 2 Hong Kong iced milk tea (RM3.30/glass). Luckily those drinks saved the day (or night). Me likey!

We brought along our 2yo++ son, so we ordered Prawn fried rice (RM10.90/dish) and small Hong Kong garlic kailan (RM12.00/dish).

Overall, the visit left us a fade intention of ever coming back. The guy serving us did apologized at the end of the meal, after hubby informed him of our unpleasant experience. No discounts were given, by the way.

Total damage:
RM187.80 + 10% service charge = RM206.60

Our recommendation, try it at your own risk! Other bloggers wrote quite a nice review of this place. Could be one of those days where they were having a bad business day, but we'll definitely gonna try out other places before coming back here.

Cheerios!
