Swensen's

Sirloin Steak (RM 31.90)

Bake Spaghetti Bolognese  (RM 18.90)

Marsh Latte (RM 7.90)

Orange Juice (RM 3.94)

The reason why we dine at Swensen's is that we randomly pick a restaurant and risk our dinner. To be honest, I won't go to this place for meals like this (steak, pasta) because they aren't worth it. Next time, I suggest , go for the cake and ice cream only...Just look at the size of the sirloin steak, super small which I never see this kind of small steak during my entire life! As predicted, I was still hungry and I was sooo disappointed .I didn't try The Bake Spag Bolognese because I'm out of mood. As ya'll can see, the seasonal veggie is in it's very tiny size. Two words, NOT WORTH .

Chilis 2

yeah...again with the chilis (mid valley) thing. We were supposed to go Las Vacas but due to traffic congestion, we end up dining at Chilis and take into consideration that it's been a while since our last visit to Chilis, so we fine with it. I'm just not really enjoy with this time visit because I felt like the food is so-so and I had a headache (chinese restaurant syndrome) after finishing my meal . Plus the table that was given to me is dirty and the floor is sticking and also I did comment about this condition but there's seems no respond from the other party. So, these are what we had at that time. New menu in the list.

My favourite (mashrooms jack fajitas)
This is the new menu, and I still don't know why my partner choose this...

Triple Play (RM25.95)

came along with the mashroom jack fajitas
can't provide the actual price here because I lost the receipt...

House of Pakeeza

Today I decided to have Northern Indian cuisine, so I heard bout this restaurant named Pakeeza, located in PJ, and before that I did some 'research' bout this place and not much results I got. Just a few review (blogs), so basically this place is not really popular but I think why not just give it a try. When we reached there, can see that there's less customer, I don't know whether it was because of the wrong time dining or the place is originally having less people coming. The waiters very friendly and really doing their job, and after we were seated, we browse the menu and try to find something nice and new. overall, the foods that we ate is fine and just okay. The Briyani is out, trust me I tasted better than this one, the garlic naan is superb and the chicken bombaywala also not really nice. It tastes weird but lucky palak paneer is there to save the whole dinner.

D'templer

After getting bored with all the western and Italian foods, I decided to eat something more Asian, so I suggested to my Duke that we should go to D'templer which was introduced to me by my sis. The concept is Chinese Cuisine which I found very authentic and of course it is halal. So, we placed our order, but at first we kinda like very hesitate to pick our menu cause there were a lots of dish to choose.... so rambang mata for a while. Finally, we choose, siakap steam (RM40), Spicy beef, baby kailan, fried squid, 2 dim sum, and for drinks we just ordered Chinese tea. Overall, I love the foods we choose that day. We were very satisfied with it.
This is the rice pot, really worth it cause it came in bulk, and you don't have
to pay extra for extra rice. Generous....

This is the Siakap steam, sedap sangat....Duke like this very much....

the Deep fried squid....bolehla....but i suggest the Nestum prawn (signature dish) and the baby kailan

this is the chinese tea, cam in pot and the spicy beef which taste like beef bacon (very tasty)
these, are the menu that we tried that day...it was awesome... I highly recommend these menu.

Pain No More...

My tonsilitis is back...again...and I have to suffer for the whole week... well I can't blame anyone cause obviously it's my fault for having cold drinks like 3 days in a row. So my mom took me to see the specialist. ENT of course and I was asked to do the x-ray and so I did. there's no problem with my sinus and I'm so relief. I was given doxycycline, broad spectrum, lucky me. And after finish my course (drug), I discovered that I'm no longer have tonsil stones, which used to be my major problem back then. As far as I'm concern, it almost 2 weeks that I haven't get the tonsil stone... before I went to see the specialist (somewhere in Jalan Ipoh) Dr. Harnam Singh, I already made an appointment with the government hospital, but I only get to see the doc on 8th March. By the time I see the doc, I think my tonsil already cured. Like forever kot have to wait. Yes, the reality of government hospital. And as for the bill for my throat... I've to spent RM120, I mean my mom. This is the price to pay when you messing with the private hospital.

p/s: i'm still going on 8th march whether I like it or not.

Pampering Myself....

Women like to pamper themselves by going to spa, saloon, massage and shopping I guess. I have my own way to pampering myself after a long day of memorizing drugs and drugs and drugs. Instead of getting my nail or my hair done, I prefer to fill my lovely round stomach. So, I went to Chilis, of course with my boyfriend (biggest sponsor). Lucky it was weekday otherwise, we have to line up and wait like forever. We've been discussing on what menu to pick ( since in the car) so that we can straight away order after being seated.

Mushrooms Jack Fajitas RM 42.95

Mushrooms Jack Fajitas came with tortillas, is one of my favorite, maybe because I am a mushrooms lover. Farid chose smokehouse steak, an introduction of new menu for steak, which he kinda regret it. Like better take NY strip steak. He also order a side dish, mashed potato with black pepper sauce. As for the drinks, of course bottomless, Grapead and Esprit Raspberry. We didn't order starter because whenever we did that we always end up wasting our main dish due to big portion of the starter itself. In a nutshell, the food is normal like the previous visits and I done craving Chilis for the time being. Craving for authentic Malay or Korean food pulak.

Tortillas and Mashed Potatoes

The Smokehouse Steak RM 44.95

The smokehouse steak came with mixed veggie, fried potatoes wedges and fried onions. For Mushroom jack fajitas, you have to eat with the tortilla but I choose not to cause I don't like the taste when they were combined.

Comment:
Generous portion
Not really cost-effective
Atmosphere: too cold
Server: not attentive (although we pay for the service charge)

Total Damage: RM 125.25

My New Baby

Finally I got to see him... I've waited so long. Lol. It's true what my mom said, he just like me back then. Time chubby2 dulu. Even I got final exam, but I can't keep myself waiting, so I went to the hospital to meet him... I was lucky because traffic not so bad that time,in fact, I think I'm the luckiest person ever, because I'm not trap in KL traffic (it's actually hari raya haji, so basically memangla tak jam) Double lucky, when I reach the hospital, nasib baik tak terlepas.

first I saw him.....he's so lovely and rosy, I guess. I hold him, and he was sleeping peacefully in my arms (ada naluri keibuan) . Dah leh jadi mak orang nih. The skin so soft and feel like I want to bite his cheek. Sangat tembam okay! tak boleh tahan.

And after puas main2 with him (not exactly, coz he was sleepin actually), I pun balik untuk meneruskan perjuangan menghadapi peperiksaan. Adios baby Hazim.

P/s: not another AFIF to be...

Call Me Aunty For The 4th Times

I just got a call from my mom, that my sis had gave birth at 11 am. I'm an aunt again, like for the 4th times. Of course I was freakin' happy upon knowing this good news. It's a baby boy!

The name given is Wan Amirul Hazim....what a pretty name. I can't wait to meet him. I have to delay meeting him because I am in a very tight schedule (exam week turned month).
Now, I have 2 nephews and 2 nieces. My mom said that the boy so chubby just exactly like me when I was born. And I called my other sister and ask her the baby's condition, she said the same thing. "baby tu macam kau time kecik2, tembam and bulat"... I was thrill and sooo eager to meet this baby boy...so, I decided to go meet him tommorow. Screw exam!... nothing can stop me (except God). huhu...

Wan Amirul Hazim, here I come...

P/S: My nephew and nieces call me Cik Ba...

Cepatlah Habis Exam

This is the 3rd day of exam week and I feel like shit. I don't have proper bath, meals, social life, and sleep. Well that's normal I suppose. One thing I realized that, exam really motivated me, I don't know if others too. I mean in the sense of opening your stack of books and sitting 5 hours continuously on your not-so-comfortable chair, and ignoring your boyfriend's messages and calls. Really, the adrenaline rush is so helpful in the last minutes. Like u gelabah and baca2 semua masuk kan....compared like 2 weeks before exam, u study2 and satu apa pun tak masuk otak.

during exam weeks also, I noticed that, we tend to crave for Maggi. Maggi is like the BFF for students. U'll need it to the max especially during exam. why? because it's convenient, cost-effective and less time consuming. maybe if 1 packet of maggi is not enough, you can put 2 packets. that will do the tricks. forget the side effects for the time being... like high sodium content which is bad for our health and a lot of MSG inside. some said that it'll cause hair loss and what so ever... the point is, u can stop it as soon as u finish your freakin exam week. for me i was thinking of having steak right after this. yummy.

also, during exam I can see the true colors of all my classmate. it is so because, at this time only I can see them without make up and I can smell the real body odor ( diorang x mandi)... which I still can remember the smell, the eyes...the eyes look like they are the cousins of zombies and the hair, even pontianak tak mengaku sedara. and everyone seems so moody like u might think twice before say 'hi'.

And then the test finished, I remember it was Biopharmaceutics paper, and everyone came out looking so weak like they had undergo a chemotherapy treatment or something. No smile, only curse came out from the mouth. for me, I feel like I am so empty and I am the biggest loser you ever found in the this planet. I can't even name 1 structure compound and nothing that I read the day before came out. I mean ada ar sikit leh jawab, melampau arr kalau tak boleh jawab semua.... but still, about 60% i have no idea what is all about. i screwed so bad this time. Coming back, I didn't have the courage to eat, then
I straight away go to bed and having my sleeping beauty hoping to refuel myself for the next paper that is Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Yet, i am sleeping with pain....

Who Loves Exam...?

I was cracking my head then I realized that it is 1 am and i couldn't believe that time passed like a Lamborghini car. The worst part is that I only made it to 1 chapter when i have another 15 chapters to go. It's really killing me when it comes to exam week, not to mention that we were unable to finish our syllabus on time. I couldn't agree more that the table lamp that i bought at IKEA last month doesn't help the situation when the light is not really meant for reading. I can't blame it cause the price tells everything bout the quality. So, next time u want to by a table lamp make sure that it is the expensive and the appropriate one because in the end it is our eyes that we have to take care of. Back to my little black table lamp, maybe i just need to change into new and suitable bulb for reading.
Back to exam topics, I am now just finished the antiparkinson and anticholinergic.
and then i am back watching gossip girl..just need a break.... and then I think I'm heading to my lovely bed. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz...
